Individual Adult Therapy
Identity Therapy
Sometimes we lose our way. Everyone goes through periods where they may find themselves questioning who they are. It may feel like a tangled web inside and you may feel lost and stuck. Or, perhaps there’s a sense of emptiness. Maybe you’re in the process of figuring out who you are for the first time, or have lost your sense of self, and you are seeking to find who you are again. I offer a safe space for you to face your questions surrounding your identity, understand the different parts of yourself, and help you move towards integrating and experiencing a sense of wholeness.
Anxiety
All people experience anxiety symptoms at times. However, you may be experiencing anxiety as an unwanted constant companion, manifesting itself in various ways since childhood, or more recently with changes in life circumstances. The stress can feel limiting and at worst, debilitating. The impact of anxiety can radiate out towards family and work life, affecting us and those around us unintentionally. We can work together to shed light on the roots of the anxiety, understand its context, and help you develop the skills to healthily manage it.
Life Transitions
Times of transition, such as moving, career changes, graduating from college, marriage, pregnancy, divorce, loss of relationships, or death of a loved one, can leave us feeling disoriented, overwhelmed, and alone. Utilizing a non-judgmental approach, we will explore the complex emotions involved and navigate through these challenging times together.
Relational Struggles
Whether you’re struggling to understand your family of origin, parenting, or finding it difficult to feel known and understood in relationships, there is a way forward. Understanding your own attachment style and how that interacts with others is an important step towards healing and building healthy relationships. We can work together to better understand areas of frustration and what keeps you from experiencing the fullness that relationships can offer.
